Hello friends. My online name gives way to what I do for a living. I am an engineer for a couple radio stations in the Los Angeles area. I have been doing this kind of work for more than 30 years so I'm no youngster. Radio has been a real passion for me--something I love to do. Coming to work everyday is more like coming to play. Lucky me!
Where I'm not so lucky is I had all the company's IT responsibilities dumped in my lap about two years ago. We had a fulltime IT manager that was let go and all the computer maintenance for two BIG radio stations is my baby. And, without any formal training on computers and/or networks, I think it is needless to say that I am often overwhelmed.
I am glad to have found this site as it seems full of useful information. What drove me here is a very pesky spyware infection that renders users computers, for the most part, useless.
I'll soon be posting something in an appropriate forum to get help with this bugger. Wish me luck!
