Hi,
I dont know if its a virus but when i start my pc ,i cannot see the network status icon(which looks like a monitor)in the system tray which i could see earlier. i also have not chosen to hide this icon. also when i open network connections my pc just hangs ie the mouse pointer turns into an hourglass. as a result im not able to connect to the internet. iv scanned my pc with malwarebytes, spybot,superantispyware and they all found some files which were removed, but the problem still persists. also my antivirus avast doesnt seem to function properly ie when i click on the launcher .exe it saya it cannot find a certain mfc71.dll file and asks me to reinstall the av, this was not the case before the problem thats described above.

Also when i tried to run hijackthis ,it started off well and then got stuck in the O4 analysis. so i had to run hjt in safe mode.
Below is the hjt log and iv also attached mbam and superantispyware logs in case u might need to see them.

Ok, i guess i fixed it, the problem was with the antivirus, so i uninstalled avast and installed avg now and now it seems fine. i can view the network connections now but iv noticed that the connection icons in the system tray dont appear immediately after start up, it takes around five minutes for them to appear and i cant even dial my connection during that time, does anybody know whats going on?plz reply :(

  • Please download OTL from one of the following mirrors:
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the Posted Image icon on your desktop.
  • Click the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
  • Push the Posted Image button.
  • Two reports will open, copy and paste them in a reply here:
    • OTListIt.txt <-- Will be opened
    • Extra.txt <-- Will be minimized
Then please post back here with the following logs:
