My system: P4 @2.6, WinWP, 1gig ram, Symantic a/v, Lavasoft AdWare, Search & destroy. I seem to have picked up a bug.
I keep getting pop ups, i.e. Attention: System detected a potential hazard (TrojanSPM/LX) .....I hva two red circles with X through them and pop up: Click here to protect your computer from spyware.....Any help greatly appreciated.

ok! my bad. I put my plea for help in the wrong place. My bad. I haven't posted a h/j log 'cause I saw somewhere not to post one unless asked.
Please, won't someone ask? I could use some help, please. Don't force me to have to ask my brainic son for help.

While we understand your frustration at having to wait, please note that Bleeping Computer deals with several requests for assistance such as yours on a daily basis. As a result, it will take time. Athough our members work on many each day, they are all volunteers who help when they can and are able to do so. No one is paid by Bleeping Computer for their assistance to our members.


Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response but your problem will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible.
