Hello all. I was referred to this forum by a member on the AVG support forums. I believe that I have picked up a malware infection and my first efforts to fight it were a bit ham-handed. I'm hoping to be able to recover with a minimum of data lost.

I've been using computers since the '70s, but I didn't abandon my beloved Amigas until very recently...kicking and screaming all the way. So I'm fairly new (five years or so) to Windows. More details later in the "Am I Infected?" forum. And thanks.
