Hi all,
As you will have guessed from the dumb question, I'm a total newbie to managing my own system (having been in the corporate world for zillions of years) but I have a Vundo virus on my laptop and also backdoor bots. I'm learning really quickly but this little sucker is faster and smarter than me (for the short term anyway). It doesn't know me yet, I'm here for the long haul and I will beat it !!!
In the meantime, please forgive in advance all the stupid questions I will be posting over the next little while and thanks for your patience.

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Please take the time, to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

The best place for you to start is our Am I Infected forum

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
