well for starters i'd suggest a good spell check! but relating to the code...

This is the path to the picture... http://pehden.ath.cx/kit/pics/christmas%20lights.jpg. but if you navigate to it, it's not there. So next try http://pehden.ath.cx/kit/pics/ it's not found either... i'd check on the server to make sure the folder and image is there and that the path to the image is correct.

yes .jpg is fine, you can use whatever file extension/format you like, it will only effect loading time and/or quality, personally i use .png .gif and .jpg which all seem to work fine.

it's not because your using a trial version or you browser etc... it's because the link you have put in ISN'T where your saying it is. In other words the code for the picture is: <img src="THIS BIT" />

See where i've labled THIS BIT, this is where your telling the browser to find your picture, if you follow that path in your browser, you'll find the picture isn't there, hence why it's not displaying for you online.

no, the folder "pic" isnt in the "programs"folder, its right next to it. but it has the same basic link is what im saying, the last folder is changed....and thats it, the reason i brought that up is because the "programs" folder pops up...but the pics in my "pic" folder dont.

and i should have the right link, with dreamweaver you can clik this circle next to where you put the link in, than you drag it to the picture or any other link you have, and it pops up. ill try agin, i have it linked to a folder on my desktop, but i also have the same folder on my server, so ill copy the link to that pic. the last time i did it the pic wouldnt pop up on dreamweaver, so i didnt think it would on the internet eaither....but i might have been wrong, i will try that now
