I have windows xp sp3 with all updates on Dell desktop 2 GB RAM. About a week ago computer suddenly started freezing shortly after boot. The task bar at bottom of screen does not load correctly(the auto-hide button does not appear) and eventually the task bar goes blank when computer freezes. No new software installed. I've used a registry cleaner and even tried system restore to an earlier date but no luck. Should I reinstall Windows? Thanks in advance for any help. Frank
