Is a Time Machine the ultimate Malware remover?

I have the RC of Comodo Time Machine installed on my system.

This seems to me to be the perfect way to remove malware without any risk of leaving something behind. I would love to hear some expert opinions about this from people who deal with Malware problems all the time.
