Recently my Google Search results have been getting hijacked to ad websites. Whenever I delete my cookies it goes away for awhile, then comes back. I also have occasional audio advertisements play on my computer, I found whatever trojan is doing this, is using iexplore.exe. I ran a scan with Spybot S&D, and it found some things, but things are still being redirected. I ran a scan with HijackThis, and the log is pasted below. If you could have a look at this, and see what could be doing this. I am running Windows 7 32bit Ultimate, with everything updated, all updates. I have Kaspersky IS 2010 installed. All help is appreciated. If you need any more information, just send me a message.

Alright, I've run many anti malware programs recently, and they've found quite a bit of files. The audio ads are now gone, I haven't had them in hours. Yet the google search redirects still remain. I rescanned using hijackthis, and here's the new log. All help is highly appreciated.

  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
