I downloaded it thinking I was going to help my computer. Instead I got a very annoying viral acting infection. I tried the maleawarebytes with update this morning in safe mode. It said there was 5 infections and I hit delete them. It is still on here when in normal boot.

I also had a heck of a time getting it to start in safe mode as well as getting it to boot back up after aswitching back to regular mode. One time it even said it couldn't boot. I kept holding down the power button until it shut down and waited 30 seconds before restarting. Sometimes took as long as 20 minutes to go to the regular screen.Seems I know enough about computers to be dangerous to them is all. I did back up my files to an external hard drive.

Thanks for any and all help.

Got it taken care of. I went to HP site and upgraded BIOS then ran malawarebytes in safe mode again. This time it got rid of it.

Thank you for telling us.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
