I have been getting IE6 and Firefox crashes on a regular basis
The crashes only occur when I access Pogo website. I must get at least
15-20 java crash logs a day....all different hs_err_pid #'s but the
HotSpot and Problematic frame are always the same.

I have no knowledge about hs_err_pid errors and sun website
offers no help whatsoever....I'm computer literate but I'm no tech
so I decided to do my own research and try to resolve this, but all
my attempts have failed, as the problem still persists....I am at my
wits end....which brings me here...hoping somebody could help
me....I've exhausted all my attempts....here's a brief recap of my
failed attempts. system info, java crash logs and hijack scan.

I appreciate anyone that will take a look.....thanks!

Here are 2 different hs_err_pid crash logs (most recent)

Just a guess...but maybe upgrading your browser from IE 6 to a newer version...might help.

I don't know anything about Firefox, but I would not expect it to have similar situations paralleling usage of IE...unless it's a hardware problem. Driver problems may be considered "hardware" even though they are software items.

The fact that you experience problems on a single, particular website...is strange, IMO.

Rather than post the log data that you have...I suggest that you take a look in Event Viewer and see what errors there might relate to your situation.

If there really is crashing...there ought to be .dmp files generated. Find such (do a search of the C: partition) and then see if you can follow the path explained at Help Diagnosing BSODs And Crashes (BC) - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/176011/how-to-receive-help-diagnosing-blue-screens-and-windows-crashes/

Hi Louis,

Thanks for your reply....Im not familiar with .dmp files...but I looked at the link you gave
me and I'll try and figure that all out and see what I can find....I did look in my event viewer
right after I crashed and there is nothing there....and since I really dont know how to read these
hs_err_pid2736 logs I really have no idea what I would be looking for anyways....my guess is something
to do with the HotSpot and and problematic frame which is mshtml.dll on mine....but I dont see anything
in there relating to that....as far as upgrading.....this problem just started when I updated java....and it is
odd that its only at one website...I never had this problem until lately...thanks for the advice...gonna see
if I can figure out this .dmp file stuff now

Thanks again
Have a nice Holiday
