Hello, I had a UACd virus and after running ComboFix the error "Windows Registry Recovery' "One of the files containing the systemís registry had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful." After I click the OK button the OS runs fines. Here is a link to the HiJackThis forum that shows what has been done so far: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic270338-45.html

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

That message (I get it sometimes) merely indicates a problem which Windows was able to deal with.

I never consider such anything to worry about, I'm concerned about the errors Windows cannot handle.

If you have an open HJT thread, you should probably pursue that to completion.
