I have Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8 installed on my computer. I also receive automatic Windows XP updates from Microsoft. If I install Firefox on my computer and not use Internet Explorer any more, will I still receive automatic Windows updates? Thank you very much. Murrar

Installing Firefox doesn't affect Automatic Updates, so you should still get them.

Just FYI:
I set my ie8 default home page to windows update. Then use firefox for everything else.
I don't trust automatic updates 100% based on past behavior.
