I believe my daughter's netbook has some malware (popups). DDS starts to run but quits without any output. I ran Root repeal and saved the report. I don't think the output from root repeal indicates much.
The computer came with McAfee and most of the popups have the look of the McAfee windows, which doesn't mean much.
This computer has specifications "Intel Atom CPU N270, 1.6 GHz", It has 1 GB RAM, and a hard drive. It has very little on its hard drive. It is used to check email, facebook, charge an ipod (not download songs) and watch TV shows on HULU.

I attached the report from root repeal, but DDS didn't produce anything.

Any advise would be helpful.

Thanks
Beth
