Hi everyone, I'm branduin. I joined BC so that I could learn a little more about cleaning up malware and virus issues. I received my in-laws machine after they got infected and I have been working to clean it off for them. I have gotten most things fixed but am still at a loss for the Yahoo search results being redirected. Searching for a solution led me here and there seems to be a wealth of knowledge and helpful people!

Me? I'm 31 and I live in Illinois with my husband and our 2 cats. I work part time for a radio morning show and do freelance website design and maintenance at home. I love flower gardening, photography and have a rather large collection of 80's toys, the majority of which is My Little Ponies!

Redirects are often a sign of malware, as you probably know. I would suggest you post in the AM I INFECTED? Forum, with as much detail as you can (often the redirect will be to the same page (s), which will give a hint).
Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John

Thanks John! Yes, I am planning to make a post there. I want to get all my details straight first so that I can make an efficient post!
