I opened a file on Facebook from a friend, thought it was safe but turned out the friend who sent it to me had been previously hacked into and this was being sent out as spam as a result.

Now my facebook account has been hacked inot and the same e-mail is being spammed to my contacts without my knowledge.

The file i opened most likely had a virus or spyware on it, Pop ups have also appeared on the lap top frequently and the pc is much slower.

I would like detailed instructions on how to resolve the above two points ie how to all infections from lap top, plus what advice you would give on my actions regarding my face book account to avoid possibility of identity fraud and stop them from using my account.
