I just built my first rig. It all went together nicely. I have an asus p4p800-e deluxe mobo and an ati radeon 9600 pro. When i boot up i get terrible lines in my display. In bios set up I can still make out the words but when I go to install windows I cant make out anything. I tried unplugging and replugging my monitor. I reinstalled the vid card. Still nothing! Is this normal? Can someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you got another video card to try? Sounds like it's faulty. Although it could be the mobo slot it's plugged into.
