win98se, pc,

error when booting fatal exception oe has occurred at 0028:co2c1085 in vxd ios (o4) + 00020f9--

what I have done-- checked msn product support--none of their recommendations worked-- one was to rename file sb16.vxd. File was not in system, I extracted and put in system but still not worked,

uninstalled programs I installed prior to problem-- had installed spybot--ran it --
still no fix.

Scanned system for file and hard drive problems--did not work--

Please run two online virus scans:

http://housecall.antivirus.com/
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

Then let us know if its working better and what the scans found.

If you can only boot to safe mode, you can save a hiajckthis log to a floppy and post it here from another machine.
