Please look this over, my computer is acting slower than usual. After running all normal diagnostic programs I have resorted to posting here, thanks for your time and help.

Hello Kevorkian and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I do not see any problems relating to viruses or malware at this time. The log is clean.

there are a couple of house-keeping items to fix so let's take care of those.

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = about:blank

Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Now reboot to finishe the fix.

You might want to try some standard cleanup maintenance and see how much junk has accumulated on the machine.

Download CleanUp! and install it.

Start CleanUp! and do the following:
  • Click the Options button.
  • Make sure only the following are checked:
    • Empty Recycle Bins
    • Delete Cookies
    • Delete Prefetch files (XP only)
    • Scan local drives for temporary files
    • Cleanup! All Users
  • Click the Ok button to close the Opetions dialog.
  • Click the CleanUp! button to run the cleanup. It may take a while depending on the size of the hard drive so be patient.
  • When it has finished, close CleanUp!.
