The computer I am using is an Acer Aspire 8730 running on Windows Vista Home Premium x64. As with all Aspire 8730's, there is a side panel for touch-audio controls, including a stop, start, next, previous, hold, mute, and audio level touch control. The stop, start, next, previous and mute buttons function properly, but I cannot get the audio level adjustment to work. I am uploading a picture that will show you what part is malfunctioning. My audio volume does not respond (or sometimes responds slightly) to a full sweep of my finger across the full audio bar. I am not sure if this is a driver issue, or a hardware issue. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated!
