I bought my son a Toshiba Satellite in May 2009. We have not been able to play some of his games, example Pajama Sam or Jimmy Neutron (he is 9). Always give the error message-- Unspported 16-Bit Application ---The program or feature "\??\D:pajama2.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit compatible version is available.

So, the question is, How can I switch to 32 bit so he can play games. This was the sole purpose of buying him a computer.

Also, I got in the mail today my Windows 7 for our other laptop, Can that be used on both computers or maybe just my sons. And if I put it on my son's computer, will it still have the 64 bit problem?????

hi,,, to replace 64bit with 32bit, you will need a 32bit vista disc,,,, and then clean install the OS (vista 32bit) using the product key on the bottom of the laptop,,,,
is the win 7 disc 32bit ??? it can be clean installed in the Toshiba Satellite but using the product key on the win 7 disc instead,,, then you might need to install some drivers for the Toshiba Satellite after clean install.
this disc's product key can only be used in 1 pc at any one time,,,, you can still use this disc to clean install win 7 on other pc's as long as you have other valid or new win 7 product keys,,,
hope this helps,,,
good luck.
