hello,

a friend of mine said I would have infected her pc with a worm. win32spy worm or something like that. the thing is, I just send her a regular text mail with yahoo. anyway, I made a log file and maybe you can tell me if there is something wrong with it. my win32 did crash indeed a couple of times.
thanks

Hello inri_pilatus and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I do not see any problems with viruses or malware in this log. It is clean.

There are a couple of house-keeping entires to fix so let's take care of those.

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE

Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Now reboot normally to finish the fix and you are all set.

Cheers.

OT

You're very welcome inri_pilatus. I'm glad that we could help.

No need to post a new log. We were just doing some house-keeping

Now that your malware issues have been resolved I will close this topic. If you need it reopened for this same issue then please PM me. If you have any new issues in the future then please start a new topic.

Cheers.

Keep on computing!
