Hello,
I have one computer that caught the Cyber Securtity Virus
I have followed the steps on this link. This is also the computer I am posting
from

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-remo...cyber-security/

I have also re run malwares scan and SAV in safemode. Both show up as
clear and clean.

We are experiencing slowness on this computer as well as redirects to blocked
sites whenever we try to browse the internet.

Cyber Security is NOT in the add/remove programs area, yet I keep getting
redirects to a blocked site. with some manuvering I can get the site to work
but its annoying and clearly not cleaned.

I cannot fix this can someone please help?
Sending the DDS log
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hi,

* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • In case you already used MBAM previously, please update it before proceeding with the scan. To do this, click the "Update" tab and click the "Check For updates" button.
  • Once the program has loaded and updates were downloaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

Hi,

This looks OK again.
How are things now?

Edited to add..
I see you didn't update Malwarebytes before you scanned, so open Malwarebytes again, click the Update tab and select to download updates.
In case it gives an error for the updates, then it's because of your Proxyserver being set here. To fix this, Open Internet Explorer: Tools Menu -> Internet Options -> Connections Tab ->Lan Settings > uncheck "use a proxy server" and check to "Automatically detect settings".

Hmm, that's strange, because your database version shows Database version: 2775 in your log while we are already at 3202.
Open Malwarebytes > Update tab and let me know what database version it says there....

It's because of the proxy that mbam has problems with updating. You can temporary disable the proxy as I explained in my previous post to try to update again.
Then you can enable your proxy again.
