Adobe Reader disappears from workstations

We have 10 or so workstations the use adobe reader to view their PDF's We have had 2/3 of them losing the existing reader and I have to reinstall it. I can't see any reason for the existing reader to get erased. Most everyone is using the ver 9.1. I realize there is a newer version but it also takes a lot long to intstall. Any ideas why the software keeps getting removed.

If you are just viewing pdf's try Foxit
