Ah...my name is Sydney and I've had a few different computers over the years but, at the moment, I'm on here to try and fix my old Toshiba laptop of its Trojan problems. I use a Mac (I know, I know) as my everything computer but I need to program using a PC, so I broke out the old laptop and here I am! I'm a computer science major and I'm just trying to learn as much as possible about computers because they're pretty dang cool. I'm pretty anal retentive about keeping my computer clean of excess anything, I defrag often, remove spyware and adware every day pretty much....somehow a virus has crept in there and that is exactly what brought me here. I'm excited to take a look around the site and find everything I want to know!

Thanks for reading and I'm glad to be a part of this community.

Hello Sydney and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Please take the time, to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

Good luck with the log and please be patient

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
