I just happened to notice that my battery icon indicating amount of charge has vanished and when I go to reselect the 'power' option on my computer it's 'greyed out' so I can't select it. I googled the problem and it seems to be associated with vista. I read a few topics on other forums and it was all about 'third party modifications' (which sounds scary, mostly because I have no idea what it means) and changing 'system' things (which baffled me). It was there last night, but this morning it is gone with just a gap left......anyone know what to do and can explain what these 'third parties' are?
