Hello all, my name is Tracy, and i own a computer repair business on the rural Northwest Coast...finally got a bug that I caan't remove fullly, so here I am! Been using Combofix and other rootkit removals for some time, and read the forums here when I have time...but 3 computers in a row with similar symptoms in the last three days! IDK if all of them are the same...one was a customer who said "yes" to whichever fake antivirus program, and pretty much killed her computer, no boot up even in safe mode...I really hate format and reload, so I hope to learn from all the oltimers here, and see if I can lick this new wave of problems...will be posting ark and dds file soon...and be reading up some more on the forums here!

I have 25 years of consumer electronics experience, and what was known as a module jockey in old days of TV repair...with a brief time involving tubes. As far as repairing electronic equipment, only the newer stuff is junk, and I can fix just about anything that runs on electricity...providing the parts are handy! I was a broadband technician for 12 years, supervisor, and have extensive power supply technology background...magamp, switchmode, or linear...

Still play my records and my reel to reels, and love to talk about 1900-1940's technology, test equipment and restoration to make it work again...
