Time/Date wont stay set

When I set time/date to current time/date, then next time I turn on the comp, it goes back to Jan 1, 2002 each time.

The mother board battery is dead, pull the cover and look for 25 cent piece sized battery and replace it.

Don't bother to write down settings, the BIOS will automatically restore the default (settings designed to boot) settings.

A CR2032 is usually available anywhere electronic/photo batteries are sold (Walmart, Kmart, etc.).

Yes but I would not bother with a used one just don't pay they are cheap, I change mine every two years.
