Cannot follow the directions to post the info needed here because admin has been locked. Cannot upload files, sorry

Have the DDS and the root repeal but cannot run either...message I get is
C:\Documents and Setting\Dee\Desktop\dds.scr not a valid WIN32 application and same for root repeal.

Been trying to do this fix on my own using eHow How to get rid of th blue screen computer virus with SmitFraudFix

Am told I do not have admin rights. When I try to do anything in safe mode I have to work through Windows Task Manager and that's how I'm able to be online, too.

Safe mode will not show icons so to me is the same thing as coming up normal; the desktop is hidden behind the blue screen is my guess.

I'm using A Dell Dimension Desktop 2400 and WinXP V.5.1 svc Pack 3
