My computer has recently started to be slugish. It is slow opening websites. At least once or twice a day I lose connection to the internet. I replaced the cable modem, and tried without the Router, but it did not make a difference. When I lose connenction, the only way I can get back on line is by re-booting the computer. My OS is Windows XP Professional. I am not sure if my computer is infected with something, or maybe it is a problem with the Network Card.

As no logs have been posted, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.

Orange Blossom, you moved my post to the "am I infected" forum back on November 19th. I still did not get any help, and I am not sure whether I should continue to wait patiently, or maybe there is something that I should do, but not aware of it. Thanks.
