Entire Desktop Crashed! Help!

My entire desktop crashed, icons, taskbar, and all after uninstalling Google Desktop Search. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please, help me!

So what do you have showing on your desktop now? Just the wallpaper?

Now installed Microsoft Security Essencials on my Tower with Windows Home Premium 32bit and Toshiba Satellite Pro Laptop with Windows Home Premium 64bit
