Hello and how are you?I noticed this on my pc (Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3)and don't know what it means.\??\C:\I can't find any information anywhere so I am looking for help here.Any feedback would be much appreciated.Thank you!

Read these threads. I am no authority on object oriented programming but the consistent nature of the replies ring true.

Anything with question marks in it is damn hard to do a comprehensive search for since it is a wildcard regular expression in nearly every os.

Some antispy utilities can show these in list of running processes but most tools just ignore them. i think often they are paths created on boot to specific device drivers.

Perhaps someone more familiar with system internals can comment.
