Save this as a .reg file and double-click it.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.7\Shellex\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}]
@="{F9DB5320-233E-11D1-9F84-707F02C10627}"

I'm not sure how to save that as a .reg file. Is there a file somewhere in your reply?

Paste the registry code into Notepad, Save As "thumbnail.reg" on desktop. Double-click it.

I tried double clicking the file and importing it. It failed both ways saying it was not a valid .reg file. Maybe I saved it wrong. Notepad wouldnt let me save as a .reg file so I changed th file extension. I'm guessing thats why it failed.

Save as thumbnail.txt

Then alter the file extension to .reg in Windows Explorer.

I did change the file extension but it wont import to the registry. I get an error saying its not a valid .reg file.

CoolCatBad needs to confirm the link is correct for your problem.

Thought you couldn't save as a .reg file.

Oops :thumbsup:

Just a thought

You may need to leave blank lines as follows:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.7\Shellex\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}]

@={F9DB5320-233E-11D1-9F84-707F02C10627}

And reboot.
