Help me please, cant even update windows after a windows repair

hi can someone please help me, my pc shut down without any reason and would just keep rebooting and would not start windows so i repaired the windows insatallation, but i went onto the windows update and it wont update anything it says there was a problem with the page.

i cannot even run avg antivirus as it says it need windows to be updated

can anyone please help.

even when i try to run scan programs it wont

Run this application first and then try running your tools again

Please download Rkill by Grinler and save it to your desktop.Link 2

  • Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
  • If using Vista, right-click on it and Run As Administrator.
  • A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
  • If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
  • If it does not work, repeat the process and attempt to use one of the remaining links until the tool runs.
  • If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.
Do not reboot the computer or you will have to run it again

hi many thanks for you help, I done the easy way in saving my work and programs to usb sticks and the sadley, Reformatted, the only trouble now is i cannot update my windows as it comes up with an error, can you still assist in this
