Hello everybody!

This is the first time I post here, and I want to say hello to you.
English is not my native language, so please excuse me for the errors I can make.

I have a problem with my PC, Pentium 4. 3,2 Mhz, 1.024 Mb RAM.

Since a time my PC is blocking and appears the terrible blue screen of death with 2 types of messages that they are gone repeating:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

I could not say which one is more frecuent; it seem to me that the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL could be.

I have to say that before deciding me enter to this forum to request aid, I have passed all the antivirus on line and antispy software that is recommended in the helping Internet web pages.
I could not specify what were I doing when that screen appeared to me
for the first time. Now it appears more often and restarts the computer, indicating that W XP has gone out in order to avoid a grave damage.
Informed Microsoft, it opens 2 windows, an indicates:
"Error caused by a controller of device of graphics" and the other "Error caused by a controller of device"
I have not succeeded in fixing nothing with Microsoft support on line, so I
Followed the best I could the instructions of the Moderator, and I paste my Hijack This log here trying to get help on solving the problem.

Hello ampi and welcome to the BC malware forum. I see no indications of any problems in the HijackThis log.

The error message that you are receiving is almost always tied to a hardware issue. If you use Google to search for "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" you will find many articles regarding this issue. The 2 main reasons are either heat-buildup in the CPU or bad memory but can also be related to any piece of hardware that is hving a problem.

I would suggest posting your issue in the hardware forum and working through the suggestions that they can give you.

Cheers.
