How many GHz does it have? if it is only 1.5-1.9 then you might be able to find a better deal.
If it has more then 2.0 GHz then it is pretty good.

But then you have to look at the graphics card and GB's of hard drive RAM.

A graphics card with at least 1.1 pixel shader is common now.
100 GB's is also common now.

Also, I think this is in the wrong section.

Try to reactivate it?

See if you have access to critical updates at Windows Update?

Run Windows Genuine Software tool?

As far as value, if you don't have a disk and sticker it may not be worth it to count the os in your calculations.

But other parts have a value.

A working dvd burner is always worth at least 20.00

A standard ATX case with a 400w or higher PS is worth 20.00 or more

A 80g or higher HD is worth 35.00 since you can rarely buy them anymore.

The mainboard can have value or not depending on the model. Some otherwise good Intel reference boards will not access more than 512 ram and therefore have little or no value even if you have a 2.0 ghz or higher processor.

Get the details and post them here and I can tell you the exact value of them.

But ultimately what is the value to you? If you need another computer, do a little research and then snag it. If it does not do what you want it to do, let it go. There will be more along on craigslist in a few min.

Yes this might be the wrong thread but I am not sure what the right one would be. Let the moderators decide.

I have a similar Machine to the one in question and certainly add on a Valid XP CD with licence at this price to be really sure, also if it has onboard Video, a decent Video Card and you could have a nice little Flyer like I have.

My Kids prefer to use mine for Games even though they have more modern machines than me.

That is totally different to what you showed on Post 4?

So count me out on this one.

No way would I like to get involved in possible use of Illegal Windows Programs.

Your response has indicated that you are quite happy to do that?

Please prove me wrong?

Pentium 4 is still acceptable specially to those that will be using a household PC. Although seldom that we see a computer shop selling P4 PC's, in a surplus computer shop it is a hit.
