Error: "cannot load speech recognition files" I receive this for all programs in Office, ie, (Windows Installer error: 1635.)

These problems have occurred since installing 15 MS XP security updates in October. (not sure if this is relevant.)

All programs do eventually open after I receive the error.

Do I have a virus? or?

Help Please

Do you have all the applicable MS Office SPs installed?

They are not the same as XP SPs.

Can you please explain this further, Louis?

Btw: I'm beginning to suspect I do have a virus. I requested an " instant email notification" for this post and didn't receive one, so I came back to the forum to check. This happened on another forum, which has me really worried.
