So i've been having this problem for a while now and i'm finally getting just about fed up with it. Hopefully you guys can pinpoint the problem. I haven't ruled out the possibility of a hardware problem but hopefully it's just an easily removable virus.

As no logs have been posted, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.

uhhh that pastebin link is the log. I just assumed a log of such a size shouldn't be pasted directly into the topic, unless i'm wrong?

Hello there,

I had jumped to the conclusion that the link was to a site that you got the infection from, which is why I deactivated it.

How large is large? What kind of log? We prefer that logs be copied and pasted directly into the message box unless otherwise noted.

We prefer that folks follow this guide: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/ prior to posting in the HiJack This forum. Doing so will produce 3 logs, unless something goes haywire, DDS.txt to be posted in the body of the message, attach.txt and a RootRepeal log both of which should be uploaded as attachments.

That said, perhaps we can help you here in the Am I Infected forum; however, please do not create or post the aforementioned logs here unless someone asks for one, which would be the RootRepeal log if that happens.

Orange Blossom
