I am going to replace my very old Vaio laptop with a new Dell Inspiron 6000 and am in doubt about which screen to order. My choices are: WXGA, WSXGA and WUXGA. I am a novice to say the least so please keep it in layman's terms...lol. My Sony has what I call a non glare screen. Some screens I see in stores are very bright and glare. I do not use my laptop for gaming......what do you suggest?

will you be doing presentations and showing documents? basically business wise use.

you will most likely be better off with only a WXGA. XGA stands for eXtended Graphics Array, meaning max resolution is 1024x764 with 256 colors. W stands for Wide. but in the newer laptops, i believe that the max resolution has gone higher.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
