I operate on Windows XP Home edition and I have been having problems with the internet on it. I can go to sites and after about the third link you click to open it will no longer open the sites just continues to stay on the current page. I have to close out the internet and open a new window to get to the site I was trying to. A friend had suggested Malwarebytes Anti-malware so I downloaded that and ran the scan which took about 2 hours but didn't find any results. He also suggested ComboFix so I also did that and it said it fixed some things but still did not resolve the problem I was having originally. I honestly just wish to wipe out my computer and start from scratch but I do not have a disk or even know where to begin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as the last time I went to have my computer professionally fixed and spent 80 bucks and still have problems with it. If you do have any suggestions please give detailed instructions as I am clueless at times and do not wish to screw it up worse. Thanks.
