Ok, so I scanned my computer with Avast and had some Trojan’s and avast got a lot of them out, although my Firefox Process runs at 100% after about 2 minutes of using the app. So I assume I have some sort of a virus, I scanned my comp with Malwarebytes and it found some and deleted then but other malware viruses keeps coming back. I also did spybot S&D it found cookies, online Bitdefender found IRC-Worm and some other generic Trj's it deleted them, it seems avast did not detect some that Betdefender did, RemoverIT Pro v4 detected lots and could not remove some(list is below), I have Vista 64bit so : RootRepeal screend didn't work. I did what the instructions told me to do and this is where I’m at. What I do most of the time when I have a virus that does not want to go away is I try safe mood scans or boot time scans, i do not have avast pro anymore so i can't do a boo time scan. Safe mood scan detected some of the following below
Avast
Sign of "JS:Downloader-FT [Trj]
Sign of "Win32:Malware-gen
Sign of "HTML:Framer-inf [Trj]
Sign of "Win32:VB-LLP [Trj]
Sign of "Win32:VB-LLP [Trj]
Sign of "JS:FakeAV-AX [Trj]"
Sign of "HTML:IFrame-CJ [Trj]"

These where sign's of the trj or malware, it seems to keep coming back so i can't find the main file infecting my pc. Also these things have got into my windows files.

Usually what i would do at this point would be to back up and reinstall windows, although i have an extra TB hard drive now as a secondary HD. so the reinstalling windows will not help if the virus has got into my other HD. Side note i have the TB HD split into 3 partitions so i have a big problem as i want to keep my data on my extra HD.

So if someone could help me get rid of these trj viruses that would be great!

Below is RemoverIT Pro v4 resualts

Final notes, this pc is used not only by me but my friends too! So some apps installed files downloaded, etc was not done by me so i don't know what should not be there etc, after i clean my pc i will be the only one using it.
Edit: side note, sorry. "sometimes when i search on google for things it redirects me to some virus scan and i know that's a spyware itself doing that, it tries to get me to buy it's prodect, usually Spybot S&D takes care of those things but its did not. I get redirected randomly sometimes to another page and it tries to give me either malware or a trj and avast stop it from infecting my pc, although i don't think it stopped all of those attacks on my pc.

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review and take the steps necessary with you to get your machine back in working order clean and free of malware.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We Need to check for Rootkits with RootRepeal
  • Download RootRepeal from the following location and save it to your desktop.

    First Location
    Second Location
    Third Location

  • Open Posted Image on your desktop.
  • Click the Posted Image tab.
  • Click the Posted Image button.
  • Check all seven boxes: Posted Image
  • Push Ok
  • Check the box for your main system drive (Usually C:), and press Ok.
  • Allow RootRepeal to run a scan of your system. This may take some time.
  • Once the scan completes, push the Posted Image button. Save the log to your desktop, using a distinctive name, such as RootRepeal.txt. Include this report in your next reply, please.

the first location i tried to save RootRepeal from gave me this
Posted Image

so i turned off norten and downloaded from the second location and it stated that the app is a Windows 32bit app only. I ran it in Admin and it said that it had invalid access to memory location.

I remember from my last post trying to get this program to work and it would not!

if there is a way to get it to work that would be much helpful, and i am sorry i cannot get this software to work for me. what sould i do now?

and update on my problem, I installed the trial for nortan2010 and uninstalled Avast home. Nortan got more viruses out, but i know there is still more, comp is still slower then normal, i do defrags daily and my firefox wil run at 100% computer use after about 2 minutes. So i know there is still a virus in my comp. so basically its the same as it was before, infected.

RootRepeal won't work on the 64 bit platform. I should have removed that information from the post.

With 64 bit we only have a limited amount of options - fortunately malware only has the same. Rootkits are very hard to use maliciously. To make sure please run Sophos.

Please download Sophos Anti-rootkit & save it to your desktop.
alternate download link
Note: If using the vendor's download site you will be asked to register with MySophos so an email containing an activation link can be sent to your email address.

Be sure to print out and read the Sophos Anti-Rookit User Manual and Release Notes.
  • Double-click sar_15_sfx.exe to begin the installation, read the license agreement and click Accept.
  • Allow the default location of C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Rootkit and click Install.
  • A message will appear "Sophos Anti-Rootkit was successfully installed. Click 'yes' to start it now".
  • Click Yes and allow the driver and its randomly named .tmp file (i.e. F.tmp) to load if asked.
  • If the scan did not start automatically, make sure the following are checked:
    • Running processes
    • Windows Registry
    • Local Hard Drives
  • Click Start scan.
  • Sophos Anti-Rootkit will scan the selected areas and display any suspicious files in the upper panel.
  • When the scan is complete, a pop-up screen will appear with "Rootkit Scan Results". Click OK to continue.
  • Click on the suspicious file to display more information about it in the lower panel which also includes whether the item is recommended for removal.
    • Files tagged as Removable: No are not marked for removal and cannot be removed.
    • Files tagged as Removable: Yes (clean up recommended) are marked for removal by default.
    • Files tagged as Removable: Yes (but clean up not recommended) are not marked for removal because Sophos did not recognize them. These files will require further investigation.
  • Select only items recommended for removal, then click "Clean up checked items". You will be asked to confirm, click Yes.
  • A pop up window will appear advising the cleanup will finish when you restart your computer. Click Restart Now.
  • After reboot, a dialog box displays the files you selected for removal and the action taken.
  • Click Empty list and then click Continue to re-scan your computer a second time to ensure everything was cleaned.
  • When done, go to Start > Run and type or copy/paste: %temp%\sarscan.log
  • This should open the log from the rootkit scan. Please post this log in your next reply. If you have a problem, you can find sarscan.log in C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Temp\.
Before performing an ARK scan it is recommended to do the following to ensure more accurate results and avoid common issues that may cause false detections.
  • Disconnect from the Internet or physically unplug you Internet cable connection.
  • Clean out your temporary files.
  • Close all open programs, scheduling/updating tasks and background processes that might activate during the scan including the screensaver.
  • Temporarily disable your anti-virus and real-time anti-spyware protection.
  • After starting the scan, do not use the computer until the scan has completed.
  • When finished, re-enable your anti-virus/anti-malware (or reboot) and then you can reconnect to the Internet.
Then please run this scanner, RSIT is like DDS but gives more information.

We need to run RSIT
  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<info.txt (<
In your next reply, please include the following:
  • Log.txt
  • info.txt

These two logs can determine whether you are infected or not. :(

tell me if those two files are what you needed, I am totally sick right now, in the morning i will read your post again, i just thought i'd give you something ASAP, i'll post more if i'm missing something.

Update: Nov 17th 2:19EST

okay i also uplaoded the info.txt

Sophos said i should not remove any of the listed detections, so i would not let me go anyfurther just clost the app.

Those logs are squeaky clean.

Let's run an online scanner

I'd like us to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan
  • Hold down Control and click on the following link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
    ESET OnlineScan
  • Click the Posted Image button.
  • For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
    • Click on Posted Image to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
    • Double click on the Posted Image icon on your desktop.
  • Check Posted Image
  • Click the Posted Image button.
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Check Posted Image
  • Push the Start button.
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, push Posted Image
  • Push Posted Image, and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
  • Push the Posted Image button.
  • Push Posted Image
That should confirm that the system is clean. :(
