recycle bin

my sisters are starting school via AZ virtual academy and they sent a computer with WinXP SP2 on it. we can everything we want on the desktop except for the recycle bin, does anybody know how to get it on the desktop without the display properties?

okay i went to the display properties>desktop>customize desktop all the regular stuff is there, like my comp, my docs, IE, etc. EXCePT the recycle bin. how in the heck am i supposed to have a recycle bin if i cant get into it?

right click my computer and select explore and navigate here C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop and see if the bin is there.

Actually what happened is you deleted reference to the recycle bin in your registry.

Im looking for a fix right now.

thanx for the link, but still didnt fix the prob... there is another administrator of the system, but is password protected. does anyone have password hackers? lol, jk.
