Hi
After my daughter was on the computer the screen became big and the colors just impossible  .I suspect that she downloaded a "screen driver"and after that it is impossible to see or read anything on the screen due to size and colors :trumpet: .
I managed to do a Virus/Trojan/ad-ware/malware scan and the system is clean.
I did not manage to find the driver and is therefore trying to reinstall the XP Pro and ewerything is going well until it remains 16 minutes and it is registering the components. Then it just stops. After 45 minutes it is still on 16 min. :flowers: I have reinstalled the XP PRO one time before with no problems.
Do anybody out there know what to do????????? :inlove:

No driver was installed. It is just that the screen resolution, and the color bit was changed. If the installation has stopped, then don't worry. Start with the installation one over again.

can you still boot to windows with out the install disk ? to normal mode (by doing nothing) or to safe mode by tapping F8 key at start up and selecting safe mode from the menu.

the only time i saw a windows install freeze was because the disk was dirty or the optical drive(cd drive) lens was dirty or failing or there was some other hardware issue like vid card or ram failing. try cleaning disk first and see what happens there.
have to leave for a while (boss called on a fricking saturday). but i will come back later
