Well I have searched on google like crazy and such, and tried all of the things listed to do for this problem, but to no success.
I cannot drag and drop anywhere on my comp. I click and drag, and it looks like its dragging, but when I let go, nothing happens.
Please help!

bottom of this thread suggest a windows update could be at fault. i have no idea how you could narrow it down to which one.

last ditch approach would be a windows repair install

Before repair installing try to do these things. Disable windows update. then uninstall all the windows updates. then go to safe mode and run a virus scan. After that do chkdsk. Then restart the machine at last good configuration. See if this works.
