 re unanswered topic: www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t235664.html

I've been observing the same, and it appears to be due to NOD32 looking for a slow dance partner, which impedes ZAP for up to 7 minutes. I believe it began with NOD32 4.0.467, and ZAP 9.0.112.000. It is still ocuring a/o 9.1.008.000.

Context, WinXP SP3 MCE 2005, + all patches thru Oct MS patch tuesday (though the slowdown began manifesting 21Sep2009). System is clean, and defragged once a week.

Just an FYI, no assistance required.
