When I change resolution from true color 600*800r to 1024*768, the color changes
to 256 colors. Howto fix it? My main board is m571 chipset sis5597/8
I need your help! Thank you.

Do you have a video card or are you using an onboard video? Also have you installed the video driver correctly. If you do have a video card what type is it?

Your video card probably doesn't support True Color Mode at the 1024-768 resolution. It will revert back to the next best mode supported automatically.

I'd say River_Rat is spot on there gvs, it looks like you have 64 Mb graphics i guess that it's shared memory as well. I don't think there is much you can do, sorry.

My main board is PCCHIPS TXPRO II on board vga - chipset 5597/8.
I installed drive from DriverGuide.
Does it suport high color 16bits 1024*768 ?

I cant find any info on that one just yet but if the option is not greyed out try it. You will get an option to revert back anyways.
