Video Card Swap issue

I have a Alienware Area 51m 766 laptop. The video card went bad in it (was disorted or not showing up at all)(On occasion would boot normally) I replaced the Nvidia 5600 fx go with an ati 9600. Upon boot the screen stays black and after a few seconds a get three short beeps. any ideas????? :thumbsup:

Could be a faulty card - right from the Factory / seller is possible, or, it could be you shorted it when putting it in - even the best of the best do it.
