Ok so i created a topic a few days ago but they removed it because i think it was misplaced or something so... i had to start all over with this thing... and uh... well i just dont know how to explain my situation because.... well... i guess i can post what i had on the other post and then i will be posting like the dds log or something and uh... i just hope somebody could help me with this... thank you all!!!

This is what i had on the original post before it was removed...

Hello everyone, im been having this problem with my computer (Acer desktop AX1700) that even though i look everywhere for a way to fix it, i just fail everytime cause i can't get the files that im missing here.

I have hijackthis and secunia installed in my computer, i haven't used any of them in a long time because i think i take good care of it . but well, the thing here is that i've scaned my computer with hijackthis a few days ago just to check and see if there were anything unusual. i have to say that the computer runs great and have not had any problems with it since i bought it. but the day that i did scanned the computer i saw many entries with the words "missing file". and i know this files or some of them are escential to my computers performance but i just don't what to do or where to go from here.

if any of you may know or have sugestion on how to recover this files please help me out, i just dont want my PC to become a piece of junk few years from now do to my negligence to take good care of it, thank you guys in advance.

Here's my hijackthis log file:

Hello Ecosis,

I have moved your Topic that included a HijackThis log here to the Misplaced HJT Logs forum. You posted your log in a forum not intended for HijackThis logs analysis. We can only allow topics with such logs in the HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal forum. This restriction is to ensure you get the best help available, from those who specialize in malware anlaysis and removal. It also should prevent you from receiving ineffective or even potentially dangerous advice, whether well meaning or not.

We understand that dealing with malware issues and getting help can be frustrating but improperly posting a log usually happens if you missed the directions we provide to those who require malware removal assistance. Prior to posting a log, we ask that you please read and follow all instructions in the pinned topic titled Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log. Following the steps in this Guide will allow the HJT Team to quickly help you with specific fixes for what may remain on your system.

Please complete all the steps in the Guide. If you can't perform a step, then skip it and continue with the next. In Step 6 there are instructions for downloading and running DDS which will create a Pseudo HJT Report as part of its log.

When you have completed those steps, start a new topic in the HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal forum as directed in the Prep Guide to post a new log.

Please DO NOT post any more logs to this topic, or post a log again in the wrong forum.

The Misplaced HJT Logs forum is strictly a holding area where the BC Staff can assist you with preparations for and to properly post your log. If you have a question or encounter a problem in the Prep Guide, please do post back to this topic; that is what it is here for.

When your new DDS/HJT log is posted in the proper forum, please reply to this topic with a link to your new topic. Once that is done, a Member of the HJT Team will analyze your log and assist you with step by step instructions to clean your computer or otherwise advise what needs to be done.

Thanks for your cooperation and good luck.
The BC Staff

And now this is what they asked me to post after moving my post here...

Ok so im here again with some updates on whats going on and what is going on is very weird. yesterday after posting this i tried to work a little on my computer but non of the program icons seemed to work. i didnt make much of a deal cause i thought that since i had the computer runing for so long, that it could be something normal, so i shuted down and went to bed. today after coming back from basketball practice, i turn the computer on, click on firefox and nothing, then i clicked on another program and still nothing. so im thinking, well... it was probably one of those programs that i've download from bleeping computer, so i go to start, all programs, accesories, system tools and system recovery to try to do a system restore to an earlier time but then the program tells me that there are no restore points created, now im thinking, how could that be? there is no way that this is happening cause the system restore option was on the last time i check. so now im more confused than before because i was sure that my computer was fine, but anywayz... i hope somebody here may be able to figure out what the problem is, thank you again!!!

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review and take the steps necessary with you to get your machine back in working order clean and free of malware.

If you have already posted a DDS log, please do so again, as your situation may have changed.
Use the 'Add Reply' and add the new log to this thread.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine.  Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links.  Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explanation about the tool.  No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note:  You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run.  After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection.  Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
