Hello, fellow bleepers. I have a query, I am trying to load new software and the computer doesn't seem to like it. This is the first time I have experienced this. The software won't autorun, and when I get into the cd contents for a manual execution, a window appears with the yellow triangular flag with the exclamation point with the words "Another device installation is in progress. Please run setup again after installation is finished. Setup will be terminated."

I have tried to load the software through the add/remove programs route and the same results occur, I have restarted the computer and tried loading the software and the same results occur. I don't know the problem. Can anyone help?
Tks,
Philcorp

What is the software?
I find it's best to shut down all running applications. That includes anti-virus, firewall and real time malware scanners
Programs like Winpatrol or Spybot's Teatimer function, anything that monitors registry changes should be disabled

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
