hey guys, First time here! but I'm sure it won't be my last....

So I just recently installed Vista ultimate sp1 for audio production use, basically just installed my audio interface drivers and audio apps

I was super happy with the install, but now it is locking up on me about every 3-4 hours. I can still move the mouse, but it won't let me open any apps. Also it seems to have disabled my ethernet also!?

Any recommendations? I've disabled windows defender as well if that helps at all.

Thanks in advance!

ok, so I ran ccleaner and cleamed the registry and disabled sidebar and defender on startup.... think it could be my hard drive? it would make a whole lot of sense at this point.... hmmm
